International, Inc (Tampa, FL):
I am streamlining and automating this CRO's
Data management functions to speed new studies.
Using SAS products on a Windows network we
are incrementally improving their work flow
while avoiding disruption to ongoing work
and keeping to a limited budget.
Cordis,
a Johnson & Johnson Company (Miami
Lakes, FL): I implemented and maintained a
SAS SPC (Statistical Process Control) system
on a Sun Microsystems Unix server. Manufacturing
units throughout the company use this application
to assist them in defect tracking and scrap
reduction. It supports data collection and
reporting using a combination of Base SAS,
SAS/AF, Graph, QC, and Share. I currently
support Document Control and other legacy
systems built with the Unify data base, C-shell,
and C language programs. During my stay, we
have successfully migrated these system from
Sun OS to Solaris and through several versions
of SAS and Unify. We made all the applications
Y2K compliant. I selected the XonNet GUI emulation
software and performed many system administration
functions.
School
District of Palm Beach County, FL(West
Palm Beach, FL): To aid the district's Key
Results initiative I have consulted with district
staff on issues regarding SAS V7 on a Windows
platform. I have coached this team of new
SAS users, re-written programs for improved
flow control, and produced Web-ready output
organized for easy access.
